Christmas Dinner

So we are a week away from Christmas, and the TV channels have already started talking about The food. This has kind of made me think why is Christmas food so important , after all is just like every Sundays roast right?
well OK. maybe every Sunday you don't have a turkey but people that eat beef or pork for Christmas or none of that you are a vegetarian what makes Christmas food so special for them. And seriously what is it with turkey and holiday festivals , Tanks giving, Christmas... what those turkey represents?
dose the fact that the house is decorated with Christmas decoration and their stands a Christmas three with lights. people pulling Crackers and reading out of date jokes which probably they read the next Christmas and still laugh at it, get the silly little hats to wear while stuffing the roast turkey in their mouth , and fiddling withe the little gifts that has come with the not funny jokes which are so small that you cant do anything with it. Is this what makes Christmas food diff rent from every Sunday roast? is it really The Christmas Pudding that is important or is it the burning Brandy on top of it?
so which one would YOU say leads to the other : dose the food brings the memories? or is it the memories that signifies the food?
